Who are we?
Our partnership is composed of 12 partners in six countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxemburg and the Netherlands.
Two associated partners from Switzerland and Austria also participate in the project.
We have worked together on several Interreg NWE projects since 2012.
We are a solid team with very motivated people working together to achieve the goals of the HoliCow project!
ELEVEO 🇧🇪
Elevéo is part of the awé group, the Walloon Breeders Association, a breeding and reproduction organization for cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, and rabbits 🐄🐑🐐🐖🐔🐇
ELIANCE 🇫🇷
ELIANCE is the national federation of the livestock advisory and service companies. It represents, stands for and supports the competitiveness of its members at the national, European, and international levels 🌍 ELIANCE’s members are key players in the dairy cattle, beef cattle, goats, and sheep sectors 🐄🐐🐑 They support 80,000 ruminant breeders, being 1 breeder out of 2!
CRA-W 🇧🇪
The Walloon Agricultural Research Centre, founded in 1872, is a scientific establishment 🔬 under the Regional Government of Wallonia. Approximately 440 employees, among which 120 scientists, work at the CRA-W to support the Walloon farmers, stockbreeders, horticulturists, forestry producers and operators in the agri-food sector 🌾🐮
CONVIS 🇱🇺
CONVIS is an agricultural cooperative. Its main activities are animal production 🐄 and agricultural advisory services. We also organize other performance tests, and we advise on all aspects of livestock breeding, feeding, husbandry and care. We are in charge of safeguarding the interests of livestock breeders 👨🌾👩🌾
ESTEL 🇫🇷
ESTEL is well-renowned within the IT and agricultural worlds. Over the years, ESTEL has developed effective, scalable, and secure solutions 🎯 for professionals. Together, we develop innovative digital solutions for the agricultural world 👩🌾👨🌾 and SMEs, such as software and end-user program for farmers, advisors, etc.
Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech 🇧🇪
Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech is a faculty exclusively dedicated to life sciences and bioengineering 🌱🔬 Founded over 160 years ago and part of the University of Liège since October 2009, Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech is a faculty on a human scale, located in the centre of Belgium, with state-of-the-art facilities that make it a veritable open-air laboratory👩🔬👨🔬 for its students and researchers.
EFFAB 🇳🇱
Effab is the European Forum of Farm Animal Breeders, the association that represents the animal breeding and reproduction organisations and companies in Europe. Members of EFFAB are involved in the geneticimprovement 🧬 of different farm animal species and represent a wide diversity of farming systems.
LKV Baden-Württemberg 🇩🇪
The Regional Association for Performance and Quality Inspection in Animal Breeding (Landesverband Baden-Württemberg für Leistungs- und Qualitätsprüfungen in der Tierzucht e.V.) is an agricultural organization 🌱 of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
LKV Nordrhein-Westfalen 🇩🇪
LKV-NRW is a service company mainly active in the dairy industry 🐄. We are responsible for the implementation of milk recording, and the quality testing of raw milk. The milk samples are analysed in our own laboratory 🔬 and the results are integrated into the management system. In addition, LKV-NRW provides IT tools 📲 for farmers and consultants for management and decision-making.

The LKV SH has years of experience in the collection, computation and evaluation of large-scale livestock data 🐄 from the Schleswig-Holstein state cattle population. LKV SH represents a data centre and a MRO at the same time. This specific profile increases IT capacities and opens up many opportunities to integrate the results of Big Data management into the daily working procedures of MROs.

IDELE 🇫🇷
Institut de L’Elevage (IDELE) is the French Livestock Institute, the reference technical institute for herbivore farming and breeding 🐄🐑🐐🐎 in France. IDELE is a non-profit and non-governmental organization. Our Research & Development activities provide technical solutions to livestock farmers 👨🌾👩🌾 of cattle, sheep, goats and horses, but also to the economic actors of the production chains.
